Quality & Testing

Quality & Testing

Every product Chemology supplies is a research compound intended for in-vitro laboratory work only. Because reliable research depends on reliable material, each lot is independently analyzed for identity and purity, and the results are documented so you can verify exactly what you are working with.

The short version: independent third-party analysis on every lot, purity and identity results reported on a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, and that certificate available by batch number before or after purchase. Not for human or animal consumption.

Analysis

Independent, third-party testing on every lot

We do not rely on manufacturer claims alone. Each production lot is analyzed by an independent laboratory using two complementary methods.

Method 01

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

HPLC-UV 214nm · Purity quantification

HPLC separates a sample into its individual components so the proportion of the target peptide can be measured against any impurities. The resulting figure is the purity value reported on that lot’s Certificate of Analysis.

Method 02

Mass Spectrometry

ESI-MS · Identity confirmation

Mass spectrometry confirms that the compound in the vial is the peptide named on the label, by matching its measured mass to the expected value for that sequence.

Documentation

Certificate of Analysis

A Certificate of Analysis is the document that records a lot’s test results. Each Chemology certificate is lot-specific and shows the product identity, the measured purity, the analytical methods used, the appearance, the lot number and the date of analysis.

Rigor

Reference standards and analytical rigor

Meaningful test results depend on validated methods and recognized reference standards. Our testing partners work to established analytical practices, with traceability from lot to lot.

USP-benchmarked identity

Identity confirmation is benchmarked against recognized standards such as those maintained by the United States Pharmacopeia.

United States Pharmacopeia

GLP-aligned processes

Laboratory processes follow the principles of Good Laboratory Practice for consistency and repeatability across every batch.

Good Laboratory Practice

Lot-to-lot traceability

Validated methods and documented records mean each vial can be traced back to the analysis that released it.

Handling

Manufacturing, lyophilization and handling

Peptides are supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) white powder. Lyophilization removes water under vacuum, which keeps the peptide stable for storage and transport far better than a liquid would.

Handling and reconstitution volumes are noted on individual product pages so your working concentrations stay accurate across a study.

Compliance

Research Use Only

All Chemology products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics, medical devices or foods, they are not intended for human or animal consumption, and they have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration for safety or efficacy. By ordering, buyers confirm they are qualified researchers purchasing for legitimate scientific use, and that they are 21 or over. If you have a compliance or documentation question, please get in touch before ordering.
